The Energy Trainers can provide you with the training needed to become qualified as either a Domestic Energy Assessor or a Non-Domestic (Commercial) Energy Assessor

DEA's & NDEA's will be the workforce who will fullfill the need in England and Wales to adhere to the Energy Performance in Buildings Directive issued by the European Parliament. Amongst its provisions it states that all domestic & Commercial properties must have an energy report on them, or be able to have an energy report done on them by a qualified person. The Department of Communities and Local Government has therefore produced qualifications whereby these requirements can be met, the Diploma in Domestic Energy Assessment (DEA) and the Diploma in Non-Domestic Energy Assessment (NDEA).
